Can we talk about finals?
Am I the only one who finds themself in the following scenario?
*A peek inside my head*
Aspersion-(n.) a damaging or derogatory statement. Hmm, that kinda sounds like Aspergers. I wonder how they first diagnosed Aspergers. How did they name it? Is it someone's last name? Sort of sounds like burger. I'm hungry. Do we have food? When was the last time I ate? Oh my gosh its 3:00!! I have to focus....
And thus the process repeats itself. While "studying" I thought I would share some of my favorites memes about finals.

December Must haves
Hello Chums! Today I wanted to share what I have been obsessed with during the December month!
Mascara- I'm just a tad bit particular with my mascara. My favorite for this month would be Revlon's Waterproof Lash Potion in the color Blackest Black. This product promises to give spellbinding volume and supernatural length and it absolutely does. It holds a curl for about five hours and does not clump. I usually apply two coats on my lashes before curling. Though this product is a bit pricey ($8.49 at your local target) I will absolutley repurchase. All in all, this product is brilliant :)
Blush (Blusher as they call it in England)- My favorite blusher this month is Clinique's Blushing Blush Powder Blush in the shade Smoldering Plum. Though it is not a new blush, I have recently discovered it and am in love. By barely applying, I am given a subtle pinky plumb color. It makes me look naturally rosy and gives subtle shimmer. The texture is very soft and with a primer, this product can last all day. The packaging is a little plain but very portable. On Clinique.com Smoldering Plum is selling for $21.00. This product was given as a gift but I will no doubt repurchase.
Concealer- C introduced me to L'oreal's True Match Concealer. I am never buying another type of concealer in my life! This product is all around perfect. I am in the shade Light/ Warm 1-2-3. This product hides my blemishes, evens out my skin tone and is SUPER blendable. This product stays on for about sixish hours so if I find it needed, I do apply again. I purchased this product at Ulta for $8.95.
Lip Products- C and I are a little obsessed with Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I decided to pick up the shade Crush from my local grocery store for $6.99. Boy was that a good buy! I have worn it everyday since! It's creamy, it makes my lips soft, and lasts for hours. The color is perfect for winter because it isn't too dark and is the perfect touch to any look. My other lip product is The Body Shop's Lip Butter in the scent Pink Grapefruit. I cannot stop sniffing the container. I know it sounds weird but it just smell that stinking good! It smells like a real grapefruit and makes my mouth water! I picked it up from ulta today for $6 and am already planning to go back and get different scents. This product does not have color. It is buttery and creamy and leaves my lips feeling soft for hours. I know you aren't supposed to "taste" lip balm but if you were wondering, this product taste yummy.

Non-Makeup Must Haves
Movie: For my dad's birthday, I took him to go see The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug (rated PG-13 for violence). I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie! The dwarves and Bilbo continue to try and reclaim Erebor (their stollen land) from Smaug (a large dragon). I won't spoil the movie but it was a well spent 161 minutes, ending with a cliff hanger.
App: My favorite app this month is Quizup. It is a free app that quizzes you on about any topic imaginable. You and another player, selected at random from around the world, compete to try and answer the most questions right. You earn points by answering the question correctly and as quickly as possible. With 7 rounds of detailed questions, the matches are usually neck and neck. As you rank up from winning matches, you receive different titles pertaining to the topics you choose. My favorite topic is Harry Potter and I am a Quidditch Seeker currently at level 20.
Song: My favorite song this month have been Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. This song is about a breakup where the singer can possibly say something to reverse plans to go separate ways. With powerful lyrics and Aguilera's delicate voice, this song is very soothing. My other favorite song is Story of My Life by One Direction. This song is much more powerful than any of 1D's other music. With deeper lyrics, it seems One Direction has had a turning point in their music (in a good way). Both Songs I would give a 4 out of 5.
Website: Lastly, with finals creeping up my favorite website is finalexamcalculator.com. This website has you enter your current grade, desired grade and percentage the final counts as. Once filled out, you receive a percentage of which you need in order to achieve the desired grade.
All Opinions are my own! Stay safe over the holidays!

Daily Beauty Routine|Makeup Monday
Hello all! Today I'm going to share with you the makeup products that I wear on a daily basis and how I get on with them. Please keep in mind that my opinions are just that, opinions. Just because I do not care for a product does not mean that it is bad. Here are some photos of my makeup:
1. Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll On ~
When I first got this I was so excited to try it. I have always had puff under- eyes so I was hopeful that this product could help combat that. After using it for several months, I'm still not sure its doing anything. What's more is that recently it has been stinging my eyes. Overall not very impressed by this product and I don't plan on repurchasing.
2. Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer ~
This product and I get on very well. This cult classic is perfect for anyone who likes light coverage. I have had to use more concealer on day where I have spots or am extremely oily, but most of the time this gives me just enough coverage. This is a very expensive product so when I run out I may be trying something new.
3. L'oreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer ~
One of my favorite drugstore finds. Its creamy, and is perfect for under eye circles. Not at all cake and it won't make you look like you are wearing a mask. The L'oreal True Match line has an amazing shade selection.
4. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matter Bronzer ~
I am absolutely in love with this bronzer for many reasons. Its matte, it looks great on fair skin, and it smells like chocolate. Yes, you read that right. Too Faced puts actual cocoa powder in this, hence the scent. Looks fantastic and smells yummy, its a win win.
5. Tigi Glow Blush (shade is brilliance)~
I am not too impressed by this blush. I received this in a beauty box and decided to test it out. In general I avoid bright pink makeup because it can make me look like a clown. While this blush is not too pink for my skin, it is extremely glittery which i do not care for. The texture isn't great. All in all this blush isn't anything special.
6. Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter~
One of my new favorites! I have a miniature sample size of this and I love it. It's creamy, blendable, and is subtle when applied lightly and bold when applied heavily. Great way to wake up you face and glow.
7. Guerlain Météorites Teint de Rose ~
My current favorite finishing powder. You simply swirl the brush over the pearls and dust over you face after applying foundation. These pearls leave my face brighter, and luminous. This does keep my face matte, however, I'm not sure if it is heavy duty enough for those with extremely oily skin.
8. Benefit Creasless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit ~
Perfect for my oily lids, this cream eyeshadow needs no primer to stay all day. This shade is a beautiful nude with just the right amount of shimmer. Lovely and natural looking.
9.Covergirl Natural Lash Clear Mascara ~
I get asked about this all the time. ever since I was little I have had extremely dark, long eyelashes. Because they are so long, mascara makes me look like I belong in an insane asylum. Thus, I never wear black mascara. I hate the way it clumps, it makes me look like a raccoon I have yet to find one thing that I like about black mascara. I was so happy when I tried this product! This clear mascara defines my lashes, holds a curl and i great for those who need something a little more natural.
Hope you enjoyed reading this. Please leave comments with posts you would like me to do in the future and let me know what you all think! Happy Holidays! ~C

Current Obsessions| Monday Madness
Hope you all had a lovely holiday and got to see your relatives! I've got several things to talk about, so lets get started. While spending Thanksgiving with my family I stopped by Walmart and decided that *shakes head in dismay* i needed more lip products. Surprise, surprise all of them are from Revlon. I have a problem and I freely admit it.
The first thing I grabbed was courtesy of my favorite beauty blogger, Essiebutton, she is in love with this and now i know why, its the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in the shade Tutti Frutti.
As you can see the shade is rather orange based, but it isn't at all in your face, you won't look clownish, I promise. My love for lip balm was very satisfied by just how soft and moisturizing this is. There is a faint scent of vanilla, which I happen to love, though it may not be good for those with extremely sensitive skin. I will be looking into new shades soon.
My second pick is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart. After loving Smitten, I couldn't resist another shade. This is very pink and i do enjoy that, though on days when I wear it, I wear less blush so as not to look like a pink balloon. For a more detailed review of the Balm Stains refer to my Sunday Funday post.
And the last new lip product is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Fire & Ice. Normally I hate lipstick, it settles into lines and is very drying. However, something about the Super Lustrous formula doesn't give me as I like to call them "granny lips". While its definitely not moisturizing, this doesn't settle into lines and crack and is very long lasting. This cherry red shade is absolutely gorgeous and will look good on just about anyone.
Have a great week! ~C

Catching Fire Nails
This blog post is inspired by one of my favorite books, Catching Fire. C and I are going to the midnight premiere tomorrow and I thought I should paint my nails to get in the spirit. This nail art incorporates the colors of fire and my love for Peeta Mellark.
Supplies:
Makeup sponge
Red nail polish
Orange nail polish
Yellow nail polish
Clear coat
stickers of your choice (optional)
Directions:
First, take your clean makeup sponge and paint a thin strip of the colors in whichever order you choose. ( I chose to paint red at my tips, orange in the middle, and yellow at the base of my nail) Next, take the sponge with those colors and pat it on your nail. (yes, this is messy so don't sweat about it! We will deal with that mess later). Reapply those colors for every nail. If you want a soft, light color you may only have to pat it once while if you want stronger, bolder colors you might need to repeat on your nails 2-3 times. Once you have the color to the intensity you choose, follow with a base coat to smooth out the applied colors and add shine. If you so choose, you can add decoration as I did. I choose to add the words "I love" on my left hand and "Peeta" on my right. To achieve these words I took small scrapbook stickers and placed them on my wet topcoat. To ensure they stay on, I put one last layer of topcoat on top. Lastly, take a Qtip dipped in nail polish remover and clean up the edges of your nail and any polish on your skin. Have fun creating this look and, MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!

Sunday Funday!
Hi guys, this post is kinda mishmoshed(is that a word? we can make it a thing) together, so lets get started. Yesterday at Target I picked up two new lip products. The first is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten. Oh my word, where to begin. I first heard mixed reviews about this product, but after discovering Essiebutton(my favorite youtuber) and hearing her rave about them, I decided I had to try them out myself.
I am extremely impressed by this stain! When I first put it on I noticed how smooth it is. Revlon named this product well. It has the soft, hydrating texture of a lip balm in a lasting stain. The color of Smitten is gorgeous! Its the perfect berry hue against my alabaster skin, I'm sure it would look good on almost anyone! It truly does last, for around an insane amount of time. Even after a full night's sleep my lips were still somewhat pigmented. This product does have a scent. In my opinion, it smells exactly like the green, slightly minty latex gloves my orthodontist wears. I don't have a problem with the scent because you can only smell it in the actual crayon, not when you are wearing it. I also love that this is a crayon, much more convenient than some other packaging. I would definitely buy this product again.
For a more detailed review of these, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srrRZ4I4Z9Q Essiebutton is AWESOME!

The second product I picked yesterday is the L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Lilac Ever After. Unfortunately, you can't win 'em all and this product has not impressed me so far. I thought it would be a good dupe of the YSL Glossy Stains, but this product leaves my lips feeling sticky, not cushiony. I love the shade, just not the feel on my lips. The stain does last a good amount of time, but not as long as the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable.
(the color swatched on someone else)
This last lip product is also by Revlon (sensing a pattern?) its the Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick in Lovers Coral. I purchased this product at Ulta two weeks ago and was shocked. I usually hate lipstick, it settles into the lines of my lips and is way too dry for my taste. BUT this is different, its soft and sheer and doesn't settle into lines. The color is the perfect orangey pink and glides on like butter.
Last, but not least, I decided to make my own lemon and honey body scrub. Here is the recipe:
1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup olive oil, Juice of 1 lemon, 1 tbsp honey. This scrub will leave your skin soft, and supple. The olive oil creates a nice moisturizer that quickly absorbs after rinsing of the rest of the scrub. Bonus; the lemon and honey makes this scrub smell amazing! Have a great week everyone! Don't forget to count your blessings and thank those around you for all that they do. :)
Love C!

Braided Headband
Hey Wellie lovers! Today I am sharing a quick and easy DIY that shouldn't cost you any money whatsoever, the three strand braided headband.
For supplies all you need is scissors and an old shirt. Using the scissors, cut across the front half bottom of the shirt creating one strip (I used an old white shirt). Repeat twice more to create three strips around the same size. Line up the strips and tie them together at one end. Braid down the strand and finish with another knot. Tie both knots together to fit the size of your head. These headbands are really comfortable to sleep in or to wear out and are really easy to customize how thick you want them.

C's Fall Favorites
My
Fall Favorites
Boots,
scarves, crunchy leaves. No wonder fall is so romantic! This crisp,
cool time of year is always inspiring to me. So, here are some of my
favorite things about fall.
*All
opinions are my own. None of these companies know who I am. Please
keep in mind that my complaints may not be an issue for you. Every
consumer is different.
Boots.
These are, perhaps, the best style of shoe. They are versatile,
comfortable, and warm. Most fall days see me wearing skinny, or even
boot-cut, jeans tucked into some brown leather boots. I am a big fan
of Steve Madden and currently own his Candence Leather Boots in
Cognac. The amount of compliments I received on these boots was
insane. I purchased them two years ago and was one of the few wearing
them. The fall after I had puchased mine, everyone had a pair, they
are a hit! Unfortunately, these are no longer available and have been
replaced by the Craave Boot(such an odd name, especially for a shoe,
right?). While the two are very similar, the Craave has a buckle on
the back that I am not too keen on. Also the cognac Craave boot is
darker than The Candence Boot in Cognac.
The
Candence Boot (discontinued) The Craave Boot (currently available)
I
also love combat boots right now. I own the Steve Madden Troopa Boot
in Brown. They offer many colors to choose from. I love the heel on
these boots. Originally I was unsure about a medium sized heel
because I am almost 5' 9'' as it is. However, they do not make me
look like an Amazon, they are comfortable and versatile and pair well
with almost anything. My only complaint is that you must be careful
around surfaces that could, potentially, scratch the leather on these
boots. After having them for a week, I was climbing some concrete
steps and the toe of both boots was scraped and showed a small white
line on each boot. Lesson learned, don't walk too close to the steps.
I do still wear them, the lines are hardly noticeable to others.
My
latest fall shoe is the Hunter Wellington Boot. Hunter has been
around since World War I, thats right Downton Abbey fans Matthew
probably wore a pair in the trench. These are made to be worn in the
rain, they are all natural rubber. Mine are the Tour Packable Boot,
the only difference between mine and the original is that the Tour
bends and is great for packing in suitcases. I did notice that the
shade of green the Tour is offered in is slightly different from
either shades of green that the Original boot comes in. My advice,
find a store that carries these and try them on in person. This way
you know what size you need, these boots run small, what color you
like, and whether you want the Original or the Tour. I almost ordered
mine online. Thankfully, I went to Nordstrom and tried them on
instead. Originally, I had thought I would be better off with the
original. I was skeptical about the durability of the Tour. However,
upon trying on the original, I found them to be a little too stiff
for my taste. I then tried on the Tour and found them to be extremely
comfortable and not at all flimsy. I love my pair and know you will
too!
Fall
items: Bath & Body Works Slatkin & Co. three wick candle in
Leaves
This
candle smells just like fall. Crisp, crunchy leaves accompany fresh
apples and a hint of spice. Everything comes together beautifully!
Tea
Forte Sweet Orange Spice (loose): This just may be my favorite tea of
all time. If you are a cinnamon fan this tea is your new best friend.
Spicy cinnamon and zesty orange flow together to create the perfect
fall blend.
OPI
in Russian Navy: Navy blue and I go way back. This deep, sultry
beauty is flecked with just enough glimmer and beautiful indigo
nuances.
Statement Necklaces: I'm always impressed by anyone who can find a
way to make bright colored jewelry work for fall.

Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins
I am a sucker for anything fall related, wether it be a scented candle from Bath and Body Works or boots and a chunky knit sweater. I have to admit, my weakness is pumpkin. Anything pumpkin. Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin hand soap, Pumpkin candles, Pumpkin face masks, and anything edible that has pumpkin in it. About a year ago, my mom made me some Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins and I absolutely fell in love. The recipe is quick and simple to make causing me to always crave them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1¾ cups flour
- 1 c. butterscotch chips (or you can use chocolate chips)
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat in eggs. Mix until light and fluffy. Stir in 1 cup of pumpkin. Add cinnamon and Pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly . Stir in flour. Fold in butterscotch chips. Scoop into prepared muffin tins. Sprinkle some extra butterscotch chips on top and bake at 375° for 18-20 minutes. This recipe makes around 12-15 muffins so I am always doubling it!
ENJOY! ~S

My Ideal Fall Outfit
Happy Tuesday Wellie Wearers! Today I wanted to share a fall outfit that I made using Polyvore. Sadly, I do not own any of these items. However, I created this as somewhat of a suggestion for a new outfit. I am a huge fan of chunky sweaters! If I could, I would wear one everyday. This style of sweater is great for layering with necklaces, scarves, or vests. Skinny jeans are also a staple of mine. Usually I throw on a pair of leather boots with skinny jeans, (i will be sharing my favorite fall boots and other fall staples sometime this week) but I felt that leather boots and a leather bag was a bit too much for this outfit, so I went with some fun black loafers. Finally, I pulled it all together with a novelty clock necklace. As I said before, there are many ways to create a similar look using different colors or similar pieces. If you have similar things in your closet, go for it! I encourage you to get creative and experiment with new styles and textures! One of my favorite quotes says, "You will never influence the world by trying to be like it."
What are your fall staples? Tell me in the comments!

E.L.F beauty steals
When on the hunt for my new products to add to my
beauty collection I think of two things, how cheap is the product and is the
brand good quality? Luckily, last year I discovered the makeup line E.L.F
(which stands for eyes.lips.face). Elf not only has affordable products
(usually $1-$6) but also good quality products. Below are my E.L.F beauty
steals that I have collected over the last year. All opinions are my own and
each product experience is unique for different people.
EYES
1) Liquid Eyeliner ($1)
This is a must have product. It is not
only easy to create a thin line but also build up the product to create a thick
line. This is a perfect liquid liner for
beginners and pros, easy to apply and correct any mistakes. The only problem I
have found with this product is after 5 hours or so it starts to rub off and
you may feel the need to reapply. It is easy to take off with makeup wipes at
the end of the day. Overall this is an amazing product I will buy over and
over.
2)
Mineral
Eyeshadow primer ($3)
If you have been cursed with oily lids like I have
this is the perfect primer for you. I find without a primer my eyeshadow stays
halfway through the day (around 5 hours), creasing afterwards. After using this
product, my eyeshadow stays for about 10 hours, not creasing a bit. This
product is best used on a day-to-day basis. This product keeps my eyeshadow in
place all day. You will definitely find me buying this product in the future.
3)
Eyelash
Curler ($1)
Unfortunately my eyelashes
grow straight out so I am always trying to find ways to keep my eyelashes
curled. Once applying 2 coats of mascara, I whip this bad-boy out, hold the
curler on my eyes for 10 seconds and voila! Perfect for that extra oomph you
need to finish off your makeup look. And did I mention it was only $1!
FACE
4)
Tone
Correcting Concealer ($1)
Diamonds are considered girl’s best friend and dog
man’s best friend. I consider concealer my best friend. Concealer can work
wonders and can be used for many different purposes. You can correct those
unwanted blemishes, under eye circles, red marks, and dark spots. Once blended,
you will have a flawless face. The problem I usually run into is the formula
caking on my face but this formula is perfect. Coming in 7 colors, there is a
shade for everyone to be content. This product is also best used on a daily
basis.
5)
Studio
High Definition Powder ($6)
Though I just
picked up this product a week ago, I can assure you it is well worth the $6
dollars. At first I was a little weary to buy this product due to it being the
most expensive E.L.F product I have bought. Not only does your skin feel like a
baby’s butt after application, you can tell your face looks glowing and
radiant, with or without foundation underneath.
LIPS
6)
Essential
Lip Stain ($2)
Though I
have only tried the Essential Lip Stain in Pink Petal, I have fallen in love.
This lip stain stays on for about 3 hours. You can build up coverage by
starting with light, almost sheer pink, and ending with a bubblegum pink. This
product does dry your lips out so I pair it with Burt’s Bees Pink Blossom
Tinted Lip Balm. If you are more daring, you could try Essential Lips Stain in
the color Nude Nectar (Orangey Red color), Berry Blush (Berry Plum color), and Crimson
Crush (Deep Red color)
All in all, E.L.F is a quality brand with quality
products. Around half my makeup supply is E.L.F but I just shared my favorite
beauty steals in each category today.

Welcome to Wet Wellies, I'm S!
Hey bloggers! Welcome to Wet
Wellies, a blog about the average teenage life. I am S, the co-author of this
blog. To start off this blog, I have decided to tell you little bit about
myself, so here goes nothing!
I am always trying new beauty
techniques and buying new makeup products. I am a wee bit obsessed with
mascara. Fun fact- I have been grounded from buying mascara before! My other
favorite makeup product would have to be my concealer. My favorite book would
have to be the Divergent series by Veronica Roth or the Harry Potter series by
J.K Rowling. I love reading so if you would like for me and C to read or review
a book, comment away.
My favorite
color is either sea foam green or baby pink. As you can tell, I don’t make
decisions very well (just like my best friend C). Speaking of best friends, C
is mine (if you didn’t already know). Whenever we are together we can’t stop
talking. We are close as two can get. My favorite word is awkward. I don’t like
milk in my cereal. I am obsessed with squirrels, I think they are the cutest
animals ever created and in the future I would like one as a pet. I have
considered entering my dog in The World’s Ugliest Dog Competition before. I
believe in Bigfoot and Nessie.
I am a God
girl. I go to Bible study every week and try to make God an important part in
my every day life. My favorite bible verses are 1 Corinthians 15:14 and John
15:5. I have recently cut my hair to my shoulders and have decided to grow it
all back (again, I cant make decisions). My favorite decade would be the 50’s.
I envy anyone who has red hair. Multiple people in my family have beautiful red
hair and I am very sad I did not receive the red hair gene. I am a dancer and
take ballet with C. I have danced ever since I was 3! Once I graduate I plan to
go on a trip to England with C in hopes of moving there after college. I have
also considered going to college there. I drink tea every morning before school
in hopes I will become British. My room is British themed and I am a fan of the
Beatles.
Now on to
my fangirling. I am IN LOVE with Josh Hutcherson. I get upset every time I
realize Tobias Eaton from the Divergent Series isn’t real. My favorite British
show would have to be Wolfblood, my favorite character being Rhydian. I love
Project Runway, Dancing with the Stars and anything on the Food Network. My
favorite football team (for you non-britishers, soccer) would have be the Tottenham
Hotspurs in the English Premier League, my favorite player being #25, Hugo
Lloris.
Hope you have as much joy reading this as I have creating
this.
