The TMI Tag | No, you aren't seeing double

Guys, I realize that my last post was a bunch of random question and answer and that you are probably sick of it, but because I read S's last post (scroll down and read it guys, she did a great job) I, like everyone else who read it, was tagged. Plus these questions seem like a lot of fun, so just go with it and I promise that we will be gabbing about beauty again soon. :)

The questions

What are you wearing?       Grey cami, blue pajama pants- you know it!!
Ever been in love?               No

Ever had a terrible breakup?      NoHow tall are you?                           5' 9" and 3/4How much do you weigh?              *Cringes*  This is one of the questions I take issue with. Not because I have issues with weight, but because I don't believe that a number should define me or anyone else for that matter. I am a Chosen, Holy, and Beloved child of God. Being ashamed of my body would mean that God had made a mistake. He makes no mistakes.  The number that appears when I step on the scale is between myself and my physician. The same applies to all of you. The fact that I am declining to tell you how much I weigh doesn't mean I struggle with weight- it means I believe I am so much more than a number. Any tattoos?          NoAny piercings?           My ears are double piercedOTP?                      Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, Ron and Hermione, Mary and Matthew, Sybil and Tom, Sherlock and Molly, Tris and Tobias, Katniss and Peeta, Cher and Josh, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Castle and Beckett, Penny and Leonard, Ted and The Mother, Marshall and Lily, Robin and Barney, Fitz and Olivia, Meredith and Derek, Lexie and Mark, Owen and Christina, Chandler and Monica, Ross and Rachel, Favorite show?    I can't choose just one- Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Greys, Scandal, Castle, Miss Marple, Poirot, HIMYM, TBBT, Friends, Will & Grace, Castle

20 Random Facts About Me

  1. I'm a night owl, its extremely difficult for me to fall asleep before midnight.
  2.  I'm quite fair but my skin has a warm olive undertone.
  3. I am a little bit psychic about small things such as the next few words a person will say, baby gender, and other random things.
  4. I have never left the United States, however; I feel like I have because of modern technology.
  5. When reading a book, watching tv, etc- I find myself wishing I was more like the main character. No matter how messed up or odd they are, I feel the need to be like them as if that will make me stronger or better.
  6. I am very quiet when I am without my friends or family.  I get awkward around people I know I will have to see again such as extended family, classmates I'm unfamiliar with.
  7. I don't have one distinct style in terms of home decor or fashion, I'm very much a combination. One day I'm preppy the next day I'm modern minimalist. The same goes for personality, in other words I am Divergent.
  8. I'm not afraid of being sassy. The urge to make sarcastic comments is almost unavoidable.
  9. My sarcasm should be taken as a compliment, it means I'm comfortable enough to be myself around you.
  10. I can be extremely negative, one of my constant prayers is that the Lord will help me to see the good in life and to approach each new day with a smile and an open mind.
  11. I hate that feeling of waking up and knowing exactly what your day is going to be like, I need spontaneity and excitement.
  12. I have gained a lot of confidence and self esteem in the last year. I believe a lot of it is because I am much closer to Christ than I used to be.
  13. I am very good at reading people. I am very perceptive and am quick to pick up on subtext based on tone or behavior.  I am also very good at knowing how someone is feeling and why.
  14. I have been told many times that I have a very expressive face. Does everyone else not do this when taken aback?
    15.  When someone wrongfully accuses me of something I immediately start yelling.
    16. My favorite types of food are Greek and Italian
    17. I believe in soul mates and true love
    18. I am more than a little obsessed with the British Royal Family- don't even get me started on Kate Middleton.
    19. I love the character of Augustus Waters to the point that I can't re read the ending of The Fault In Our Stars. If you haven't read it, do. JUST DO.
    20. Put me in a social setting with my best friend and I suddenly gain an extreme amount of confidence. I could not care less what people think of me. When I am with my best friend all I care about is having fun. This can lead to very judgmental looks from strangers, but hey,- I am who I am, and if I want to run around Kroger cooing like a bird, I will.

My advice on gaining self confidence? Look around at who you are afraid of judging you. If these people are strangers remember that you are an amazing human being. It is not up to strangers to determine your self worth. If its you classmates you feel uncomfortable around, remember that its your life- no other person's opinion should cause you to hide who you are. Be yourself, it takes guts, but whats more frightening- Showing the world who you are or Hiding your true self away all your life?

Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation Review | The One That Depends

For the last two months or so, I have been trialing Covergirl's latest face offering. It has taken me so long to review this because in the beginning we weren't a very good couple. We started off the relationship with quite a large fight, we wanted different things. I was a bit overwhelmed by it all, Outlast came on a little strong and I just wasn't ready for it. We broke up immediately after our first date, only to try again very soon. The second date was much better, we decided to be a bit more casual, take things slow, and boy am I glad we did. If you are looking for something that is going to give you medium to full coverage and has pretty good lasting power you may  have found your match. I apply less than a full pump all over using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush which I find works it into the skin nicely. A full pump with a smaller brush made me look much too cakey, but buffed in I'm quite fond of this one. It looks quite flawless without appearing as if you're wearing an inch thick layer of the stuff. This foundation claims to have the lasting power of a primer and the coverage of a concealer. While I can't say I support the latter, it does have a good no fuss matte finish that keeps us greasy gals from looking like an oil slick in the t-zone area. I have the shade 805 which is the lightest shade, this can wash me out a bit if I go in with a heavy hand, it's more pink toned while my skin is more yellow. The next shade up is too dark for me so I warm my face up with bronzer when wearing this. All in all a good face base for those on a budget, and we all know that when it comes to makeup I need to be on a budget! Have you tried the Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Chacos review!

Going through a checklist for my mission trip I noticed the words tennis shoes and comfortable walking sandals. I have old dirty tennis shoes that were bearable to walk in so I checked those off my pack list. I was racking my mind trying to remember if I had comfortable walking sandals. Once I came to the conclusion I had no such pair of shoe, I started looking online. Chaco kept popping up as the number one result in google. I click the website and started to shop. I read about the shoes and fell in love with the idea of them. I only had 1 problem, the price. The pair I wanted were $100! I wasn't sure if I could swing this buy because it was literally a week before I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic that I had been saving for all fall.    I talked it over with my parents and we decided it was best to go into REI and try the shoes on, decide if they were comfortable and worth this big chunk of money. Walking up to the Chaco shoe section is a bit intimidating! There are so many patterns, styles and straps. Luckily there was a very kind worker lady who saw the concerned look on my face and decided to help me. I knew I wanted a toe strap so we looked at all the toe strap models they offered (ZX/2 Yampa sandal) . I couldn't decide between the colors light beam or Fiesta. I was around a size 8 with a little growing room. I finally decided on the color Light Beam because it matched with everything!! The lady was very nice and let me walk around the whole store with the shoes on to see if I felt comfortable or not. Within 10 minutes of wearing these shoes I was in love!
I walked up to the cash register and gave them my cash. I was so excited to finally own of pair of the famous chacos! I wore that pair everyday for the next week, people probably thought I had no other shoes! Breaking them in was a rough experience, I got tiny blisters on both my feet. I pushed through and finally broke them in before the trip. I am so glad I got chaos and don't know what I would have done on the trip without them! I wore them everyday and in the ocean to protect my feet! Overall, they are worth the money and come in many fun shades and patterns! Now all I need is a Chaco tan!
Do you like your Chacos? What's your favorite color or pattern? Do you love or hate the toe strap? Tell me in the comments below!
